Frequently Asked Questions
I preseve flowers by pressing them in my hardwood presses to extract their moisture. This is a slow process that takes patience. Once the flowers are pressed, I will frame them behind UV blocking glass.
The whole process to create your special piece of art takes at least 4 months, and the first step is inquiring to see if I have space available for your bouquet. For details on the complete process, check out my process page.
It takes a minimum of 4-6 months for me to turn your fresh bouquet into a piece of art for you to enjoy for many years to come.
As beautiful as a bouquet in resin is, I do not work with it due to the chemicals involved and environmental effect. My process is eco-friendly and my materials are biodegradable or reusable.
I do not offer clear frames as a standard option. Many flowers cannot be pressed thin enough to fit into them. If your heart is set on a clear display, let's chat and see if that is an option. Additional charges apply.
The fresher your flowers are when pressed, the better they will turn out. I ask to have your flowers within three days of your event, for the best results. If it is past 3 days, please send me a picture so that I can see the condition your flowers are in before proceeding.
Your flowers will be flat and textured, and no longer the three-dimential shape as they were when fresh. You can expect some colors to change. Due to the organic nature of the flowers, I cannot predict if or how much color will change, but frequently, reds turn a dark burgundy, pinks get lighter, and whites become more ivory.
Flowers need to be dropped off to me. I will send you a link to schedule a time for drop-off after you have booked. At this time, I am not accepting bouquets by mail.

Not all flowers or leaves can be pressed and preserved. Flowers that contain a lot of moisture or waxy/tropical flowers are difficult to press and dry, which can lead to unfavorable results such as browning or molding. Separately, dried leaves and flowers cannot be pressed, as they would break or crumble if I put them in my presses.
Unfortunately, I am unable to press dried flowers as they would break apart and crumble if I put them into my presses. If you would like to re-create a special bouquet with your florist, I would be more than happy to press the fresh bouquet!
I offer 16x20, 11x14, 8x10, and 6x8 frames. For more details, please check out the products page!
Absolutely! Depending on the size of your bouquet and what frame sizes you want, you may want to provide some additional flowers such as a bridemaid bouquet or table arrangment.
Please get your flowers in water as soon as possible. You do not need to refrigerate your flowers, but doing so does not hurt, either. Trimming the stems a half inch and changing the water also helps the flowers stay fresher longer.
I recommend keeping your flowers out of direct sunlight and avoid humid or temperature-fluctuating environments, such as bathrooms. Your flowers will naturally fade with time, but these will cause quick changes.
I accept cash, card, check, and Venmo. I require a $100 deposit that is applied to your final payment, which will include applicable taxes. Your final payment is due before or when picking up your order.
I work with whatever I receive, but know that all flowers do not turn out ideally. Extra flowers allow me to put the best ones in your arrangement. If you wanted to provide any additional bridesmaid or centerpiece flowers, this would give you the opportunity to add onto your order, if you were to choose to do so.
