Interested in preserving your flowers? Please inquire to see if I have space available in my schedule. In order to serve you well, I take a limited number of bouquets each week. My typical response time is within 24 hours!
If I have space available to take your bouquet (I sure hope I do!), I will send you instructions on how to proceed with booking. From selecting your frame sizes and colors, to finalizing your booking by rendering your first payment, I will guide you through the process step-by-step. Bouquets will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis, and require a $100 deposit. I am unable to tentatively hold a date without a formal booking.
The preservation process begins with bouquet disassembly. I then carefully evaluate the quality and state of each bloom in order to determine the best way to press and preserve it.
Next, the flowers are loaded into my handmade, hardwood presses, where they will dry for up to six weeks. To ensure all is well, I will open the presses and check on the flowers several times during this period.
After your flowers are completely dry, I will create a draft arrangement and email it to you for your approval. I want to ensure that you love your art once it's finished!
If you want something different, I will happily create you a new design. If I do not hear back from you within three days, I will proceed with gluing the most recent design I’ve shared with you.
Yay! Your preserved flower arrangement is complete! It has been over four months since you dropped off your special flowers, and I am so excited for you to receive your preserved bouquet.
In this final step of the process, we’ll complete final invoicing and schedule a pick-up time. Thank you for trusting me with creating a piece of memorable art for your home!
